...and men love Tom Bianchi. His works are an incredible success. Tom loves to focus not only on the male figure, but male love and companionship. Recently he released the making of documentary of ON THE COUCH Vol.2, which completes a series of On the Couch works, including Internet, film, calendars and of course Volume 1 and 2 of the so highly appreciated photobooks. For now that is, since rumour has it that Tom already started working on the 3th edition in this family.
Tom Bianchi started his professional life as a lawyer, trained at Northwestern University. He worked as corporate counsel for Columbia Pictures. Came the day when he tore up his law degree and pasted the scraps into a painting, entitled ESQ: Notes From a Lawyer Who Left. Since then, Bianchi has produced photographs, paintings, and sculptures that have been exhibited and collected throughout the world. He published his first book of photographs in 1991.
"I'm not interested in people who want to be 'models.' I like working with men who want to explore themselves more deeply - and erotically - and have some fun in the process." Bianchis’ work proofs his believes.
Besides his wonderful artwork, Tom is also very active in the ongoing fight against AIDS. He co-founded a biotech company and has directed the funding of AIDS drug development, and works on THE UNION OF SEX AND SPIRIT, a project that looks at relationships relating to HIV all the while educating men how to tease, flirt + foreplay.

If only we could be in the shoes of the photographer Tom Bianchi himself. Artistically sexy.

I love Tom Bianci's work. My own photography also explores male sexuality and eroticism, but in a different style. It would be a privilege to collaborate with Mr. Bianci on a project someday.
