Mariah Carey scooped just one prize at the American Music Awards this week – despite being up for four gongs. The pop diva won the night's first award for Favourite Soul/R&B Female Artist, but lost the Favourite Female Pop/Rock category to Gwen Stefani. Carey – who left the awards ceremony empty-handed in 1997 after being nominated in six categories - told the audience at the Los Angeles bash: “Thank you so much for the warmth and the love.”
Christina Aguilera apparently got herself a whole different kind of prize. Her new husband toasted his large manhood during the couple’s wedding dinner rehearsal last week Friday , November 22th. Record producer Jordan Bratman reportedly stood up during the Japanese meal and asked guests to raise their glasses as he thanked his shocked parents for his “good looks and large penis”.
Afterwards, Jordan's brother and best man, Josh, and father, Jack, both stood up to proudly celebrate the groom's generous appendage. During the bizarre toast, Christina simply smiled and nodded in agreement.
