If you are into Italian music, you might know Michel Altieri from way back, when he gained quite some fame being the leader of the avant-garde boys band 'Trendiest Attitude'. But that was between 1995 and 1997, and Michel has grown since then.
Michal was never meant to be a teenage popstar. Already at the age of 11 he started his theatrical life. He trained as an actor and singer at the Centro Teatro Attivo and the International School of Theatre in Milan. Being driven as he is, he also took private lessons from actors Narcisa Bonati and Alessandro Balducci, and studied soul music - hence his brief popstar career - and musical theater. That last class really pays off.
After having starred in several, international, commercials and even some films, 27 years old Michel is now hitting it big time on stage in real life musicals. He won a price for his performance in the Italian musical 'Cain And Able,' the lead in a musical adaptation of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray,' and is now to be admired in the popular show 'Rent.'
