BEGINNING JULY, BEAUTIFUL ANNOUNCED ITS FIRST COOPERATION WITH BEST GAY BLOGS: BEAUTIFUL BLOGGER OF THE MONTH. NOT WITHOUT SUCCESS. LOTS OF NOMINATIONS ARRIVED AT BOTH REDACTIONS, BUT MOST PEOPLE VOTED FOR KAHIL, AND HIS BLOG MY KAHIL.COM. MY KAHIL.COM IS A BLOG WELL ORGANIZED, VERY ACCESSIBLE AND ENTERTAINING. KAHIL, WHO ALREADY HAD HIS PORTRAIT IN THE IN DEPTH SECTION AT BGB, DESCRIBES HIS BLOG AS : "JUST THE RAMBLINGS OF A FRAT BOY IN LOVE."
How does it feel to be nominated and selected as the Beautiful Blogger of the Month?
Kahil: It is a complete surprise, I just don't see myself in that way so it’s hard for me to understand why anyone else would.

We received tons of nominations for you...even from an X. How do you maintain such strong relationships with so many people?
Kahil: I'm not sure really. I just always be myself. I don't have a whole lot of family in my life, so my friends are my family.
You quote Ralph Sockman on your blog - "Nothing is so strong as gentleness and nothing is so gentle as real strength" - what does the quote mean to you?
Kahil: It’s just a quote I try to keep in mind as I try to make through each day. It’s one of those things that can be applied to almost all aspects of life.
The complete interview with Kahil is now available on Best Gay Blogs. -B-

My congratulations on winning this award, I saw you website several months ago when someone posted partial information as to what happened between you and Andreus. Although the events that lead to what has occurred between the two of you, are some what of a curiousity to try and piece together the "entire story?" it would be totally inappropriate to in anyway to read more then I did on your own website at that time along with postings that took place at JUB. I watched your blog for about two days and felt I was intruding in your privacy and never returned to the site. Whether you posted more infor. as to what took place, I have not idea, and I think things are better left as they are. I did notice you moved here to Los Angeles, but I never figured out why and or what career position you had or were seeking. I don't know your educational background or any professional training skills you might have, but I do hope that you have found work that is rewarding for you.
I believe we communicated a few times at JUB, I asked you to translate a Native American piece of poetry you posted. My apologies for not remembering what tribe you come from but I do hope you maintain your contacts to the fullest with the tribe. It is so important that our Native American culture be preserved no matter what the cost and or efforts by all.
Good luck with your new blog site and the reward you won. From my limited contact with your blog site (website - I believe you and Andreus had one together at one time but I do not know or need to know the outcome of any of that. Again, it would be an intrusion in your privacy.
I hope you were able to chose a good area here in Los Angeles as our neighborhoods can take a change in their environment with in a matter of blocks so it is often misleading as to where is a safe and good place to live.
Thats about all. Do well Kahil. Quite honestly the events of the past year that was played out on JUB, I truly never understood. It just seemed to me that playing out one's personal life - to what ever degree was done - was bound to put unwanted and un-needed stesses in a realtionship that seemed to venture off into various directions - which at times seemed rather unfair to both of you. But that decision was made by you and Andreus and one whould have to defere to your decisions as to what you did. Personal opinion here, I just never understood the entire matter.
Sorry you ran into such bad weather this last July. That is no typical of July by any means - I might expect that in Aug or Sept, but for it to happen when it did is something I have never experienced living here for ????
years.
The photograph of you up above is a nice one. You look happy and at peace. I just have always wondered about "cap" and what its significance was/is. Judging for the little i know of you my guess is that there is a sound justification for its presence.
Over written, but I hope this writing gives you some insight as to how your persona appeared on JUB and your own blog site.
I hope I have in no way been overly intrusive in your privacy and or space as that was not and is not my intent.
Just a lot of misc. thoughts regarding your presence here on the internet.
Bye, good thoughts and wishes.
