Eddie Stone is 29 years old, of French/Italian, in Montreal, Canada and currently living in Los Angeles. He created his own name by making a combination of the two main characters of the popular British comedy series Absolutely Fabulous, Eddie Monsoon and Patsy Stone. How did you start in the porn business: pure luck or given opportunities?
Eddie: A bit of both. I was Go-Go dancing at Micky's in West Hollywood when I was discovered by Chi Chi LaRue.
Tell us about your first meeting with Chi Chi…
Eddie: It was a Thursday night at Micky's when I met Chi Chi. Thursday is 'Cocktails with the Stars' where fans get to meet their favorite porn stars. I was dancing for the crowd, when Chi Chi approached me and asked me if I had ever considered doing porn. I told her that I had, and the rest is history.
Why did you stop being an exclusive for Rascal Studios?
Eddie: I had been with Rascal for 2 and a half years, and had done everything I could with them. We had shot about 18 movies, magazine covers, books, toured the U.S. and Europe and had won awards, so it was time for me to try new things.
Would you consider yourself an exhibitionist?
Eddie: I suppose anyone in my industry has to be an exhibitionist of some kind or another. Some people like to show off, and others are probably looking for acceptance from others, but I like the feeling of complete freedom I get from doing what I do.
Is making porn a way for you to create new sexual experiences?
Eddie: In a way, yes. There's nothing I do in movies that I wouldn't want to do or try in my private sex life, it just happens to be on film.
In 'Set in Stone,' you made quite a performance.Do you have any limitations in what you want to show on screen?
Eddie: Absolutely. A gang bang was something I was wanting to try, and got the chance to do in 'Set in Stone,' but there are things that I have no interest in doing... in real life or on screen.
What's the next step in your porn career?
Eddie: My website, www.eddiestonexxx.com, is very important to me. It's a place for fans to go to see and experience things about me that they can't get elsewhere. For example, there are galleries of photos you won't find anywhere else, and I do live web cam sex shows once a week. Aside from that, I've been working more and more behind the camera, writing and directing for movies like 'The Stone Age,' coming out this Spring.
What are the best and the worst things about being a porn star?
Eddie: The best is that I get a chance to do something I love, and share it with others. The worst is when others judge me for what I do. I feel bad for those close minded individuals.
Do you put a lot of care in the way you look?
Eddie: I have to... the camera doesn't lie... haha!
Have you done some fashion modeling as well?
Eddie: I have done some mainstream modeling. Once for Tom Ford to promote his line of sunglasses in GQ magazine. I was in I.D and Paper magazines, but usually appearing as Eddie Stone.
How do you envision your future? Acting,writing,modeling?
Eddie: I'm in this for the long haul. I'll continue performing in movies, but like I said before, I'm also interested in writing - my script was nominated at this year's GayVN Awards for Best Screenplay for 'Second Inning: Little Big League 2' - and of course directing/producing, which I got a chance to do in 'The Stone Age.' I've got a lot more porn in me to give! -B-
