Rodney Washington was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but relocated to Sana Francisco in 1989. It was here were he purchased his first 35mm camera, which turned out to be the beginning of his greatest passion. He started spending all his spare time exploring his new home by taking snaps of all the beautiful city by the bay. After he moved to Los Angeles in the early 90’s, he continued shooting nature scenes and portraits, but he also started to explore another creative path: writing and web design, which resulted in the creation of his own web design company in 1997. But not being able to let photography go, Rodney reconnected with the art in 2004, when he began shooting for travel web sites. This allowed him to travel to many destinations, and in 2005 he started his monthly journey ‘The Traveling Pair’ in which he shares his travel memories with you through the eyes of his camera.

Besides all this, Rodney Washington loves shooting fashion and fine art male nudes. He now found the perfect way to combine his various talents in design, writing and photography on his blog Studioguyzmag.com and his website StudioGuyz.com. His blog shows work of various artists and various genres, where his site focuses on his own work.

One of the guys to be found on Rodney’s site is Jabarri Livingstone, a professional model who inspired Rodney with his boundless energy and professionalism. Jabarri’s modeling work includes artistic nudes, fitness, contemporary/edgy fashion and commercial work. He is focused, fun loving, adventurous and versatile, which his different field of interests - artistic nudes, fitness, contemporary/edgy fashion and commercial work – proofs. –B-
