WHEN THE UNITED STATES WERE DISCOVERED AS THE NEW WORLD, IT SOON BECAME THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY WHERE ALL DREAMS WOULD COME TRUE. SPECIALLY THE CITY OF NEW YORK, AS THE GATEWAY TO THE NEW WORLD, HAS BECOME A SYMBOL OF UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES. FOR MANY IT DID COME TRUE.
Paulo Pascoal was born in Portugal, July 8th of 1983, the first of 8 children, son of a Brazilian woman and an Angolan man. He spent most of his childhood in Angola and in 1993 during the Angolan civil war, at the age of 10 influenced by his very catholic education, Paulo wanted to be a priest and his family sent him to study theology in Spain, at the San Agustin Seminary. 6 Years past that, Paulo discovered that his passion was actually more in the performing arts and he did to immigrate to the U.S. to study Music, Dance and Drama at The Julliard School in New York. At the age of 21 and barely done with school, Paulo released his first music album, I Wish That I, making of him the first and only Angolan to have a whole album in English, putting him up to the mainstream opening shows for Julio Iglesias, Sisqo, Shaggy, Busta Rhymes, Janet Jackson, Eve, DMX and many more…
Not long after all that, Paulo got a proposal to star as the lead character in the popular phenomenon soap opera, Sweet Strawberries in Portugal. But, with his very recent career and already extremely over exposed, Paulo, who felt he wasn't ready for fame, decided to take the time to travel the world doing missionary and humanitarian work for Unicef.
In 2006, Paulo moves to Canada for a fresh rebound, and now to study journalism. An adventure that once again brought him in front of the cameras, briefly hosting Ecstasy and Styleye, followed by the super-hero role of Dax in the Power Rangers sitcom.
Finally, Paulo fell in love… and lands back in New York…
As a model, Paulo Pascoal, was discovered while visiting Paris at the age of 15 by the French photographer Pierre Gonnard… did campaigns for Swatch skin, Nike, Diesel, Benetton, Levi's… and many print ads, commercials and editorial spreads… but modeling is just pure fun! –B-

Is he out? I have known few african guys who are in public limelight and have come out of the closet. Wishing him all the luck (he sure can easily get all the love he wants, just look at these posts)
