WITH THE RAIN POURING DOWN, AND THE TEMPERATURE DROPPING TOWARDS THE FREEZING POINT, WE START SENSING THAT ODD MELANCHOLY FEELING THAT ALWAYS COMES BACK IN THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. MEMORIZING THOSE HOT SUMMER DAYS AND NIGHTS, YEARNING FOR MORE. SO WHY NOT DO IT, WHY NOT GOING FOR IT. WHY NOT RETURNING TO KEY WEST.
Key West, Florida, is one of these areas in the world were the weather is good practically all year long. The thing that makes Key West stand out from the other places is that it is the perfect place for a hot summer gay vacation. Recently Jason Rowan returned to Key West on invitation of gay resort Island House Key West, the Key West Business Guild and the Tourist Development Council. And when he went he didn’t go alone. Once again, Jason Rowan brought some friends who had the pleasure to discover – or rediscover – all the pleasures that Key West have to offer. And more.
Being a regular in the area, Jason Rowan knows the Keys as no other. And he was happy to share his knowledge with his three invites, Ryan, Scott and Levi. Levi Poulter we know of course. Living in Miami, he is no stranger to the pleasures Key West has to offer. Scott is also no stranger, being the Island House guest from the 2006 Room 103 series. And Ryan… well… many of you might remember him as well. Ryan Findlay was one of the world’s first male super models back in the 90’s. Being discovered by Bruce Weber, he made a huge career before getting bored with it and retiring some years ago. Specially for Jason, he made his return in front of the camera, so it is as much his return to modeling as ours to Key West.
Ryan was the first to arrive in Key West. Jason took him to Bahama Village for a first introduction of the area, after which they returned to the resort where Levi was already eagerly waiting to join them. The two guys hit it off immediately and had the best of time at the pool and in town. When Scott arrived later the team was complete and went for a ride to Fort Zachary Taylor for a swim. They spent most of the afternoon at the beach before returning to the Island House where the happy hour was in full swing. Needless to say, the first day was a big success. –B-
