BESIDES ART PHOTOGRAPHY, WE DO SOMETIMES LIKE TO SHOW YOU SOME FASHION AS WELL, AND IF THE TWO CAN BE COMBINED IT IS OF COURSE EVEN BETTER. SO WHEN PHOTOGRAPHER DEAN STOCKINGS OFFERED US HIS SERIES HE SHOT FOR REFRESH MAGAZINE, WE COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED.
Dean Stockings is a most fascinating photographer, active on pretty much every level of the art, including video. Over the years his work has graced the cover of many international magazine. In 2005 – 2006 he traveled around the world with his partner, visiting Russia, Mongolia, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Easter Island, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania and Vancouver, and when he eventually returned to his home in the UK he pored all the influences and inspiration he found during this exciting journey into his fantastic work. Hence the fact that his photos and videos have that artistic and magical touch, which soon will be rewarded with his first book publication Sofa So Naked.
The Snow Queens series – as he named this shoot officially - of which you see several examples here, Dean Stockings shot specially for UK based gay lifestyle magazine reFRESH. It is a most impressive series of photographs, featuring beautiful men wearing jewelry and undergear in fairy-tale like icy environments. Beautiful indeed, we just hope it wasn’t too cold for the sexy men. –B-

I thought this was a great idea, and the photos are beautiful. They are so hot, that I'm surprised the snow around them hasn't melted.
