YOU CAN LOVE ONE DEEPLY AND DEARLY BUT ONE DAY YOU REALIZE THERE IS THIS ONE THING THAT HE DOES THAT REALLY IRRITATES YOU. IT GOES FROM BAD TO WORSE AND LOVE CAN TURN INTO HATE WITHOUT YOU REALIZING IT. IT DOES SOUND LIKE A CLICHE, BUT IT REALLY IS A THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE.
Loving someone is often initiated by feelings of lust. And lust can turn into feelings of jealousy when you realize your partner evokes those lustrous feelings not only with you. Jealousy and envy can turn a beautiful love story into a war scene, and has, through history, been many times the reason for bitter break ups and passionate fights. But it doesn’t always have to end that way. Sometimes you can get to your senses and realize that what you have is precious and worth fighting for, not against.
Sandro Bross has created a series of portraits that illustrate those strong passionate feelings in a the beautiful and stylish way that we came to know so well from this Swiss photographer. Clean images of handsome young men, well shaped bodies and strong personalities. The two men featured in this series are no strangers here on Beautiful. We introduced you already to Eugene Malitsky in September. He is the 18 year old swimmer who originates from Kiev, Ukraine. Simon Kienzle had his ‘Beautiful-moment’ exactly two weeks after Eugene’s debut, in a series that shows this 19 years old passionate soccer player in a casual and natural style that does not reveal at all the fact he has almost no experience in front of the camera.
Today, Simon and Eugene pose as two lovers, caring and loving, fighting and hating, and finally finding themselves safe in each others embrace. And isn’t that a beautiful message just a few days before Christmas? –B-
