No matter where you go, no matter where you look, Paris is full of beautiful people that are the result of racial mixtures. It is a true melting pot and an example of a world without boundaries. It is also a treasure for people like Gaëtan Rolle, who is always on the look for new exotic faces to immortalize in his photographic art.
Gaëtan Rolle is 27 years old and lives in the French capital city Paris. After he studied psychology for four years, he landed in working for television and eventually moved on to the world of beauty and cosmetics, finding a job at L’Oreal. Besides that he is also a passionate and inspired young photographer, using the Parisian ethnic diversity as his main subject. Gaëtan’s examples in photography are as diverse as his subjects. He is an admirer of David Lachapelle, who shoots his work as video scenes, and is inspired by the honesty in the works of Jean Baptiste Mondino, and the simplicity of the photography by Patrick Demarchelier. All three masters in their own territory and you will find elements of these back in Gaêtan’s work.
For two years Gaëtan Rolle has been shooting his models, and he has enjoyed several publications, varying from printed magazines and brochures to digital features. Asides from that, he is also active in the production of video clips and TV commercials, and his models can often be found on the catwalks of fashion designers. –B-
