THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING US FOR SOME TIME - LET’S SAY FOR THE PAST
YEAR AND A HALF – MUST HAVE REALIZED THERE SOME TALENTS WE LIKE IN
PARTICULAR. THOMAS SYNNAMON IS ONE OF THEM. HE ALWAYS FINDS A WAY TO
SURPRISE US WITH ANOTHER SERIES OF PHOTOS THAT CLEARLY CARRIES HIS
STYLE, BUT IS SOMEHOW SO DIFFERENT IN APPROACH, THAT WE CAN ALMOST SAY
THAT EACH OF HIS PROJECTS IS LIKE ANOTHER DREAM. IN THE CASE OF SAM
DEVRIES IT IS DEFINITELY A WET DREAM.
Thomas Synnamon
lives in, and operates mostly from, New York City. Although there are
exceptions, he shoots mostly from his own home, which guarantees that
always present intimate and personal touch in his work. Tom has been
shooting only for a few years and he is, according to his own words,
still looking to define his own style. We believe he already did, by
selecting his subjects with care, by choosing original concepts,
situations, poses and props, and – and you can’t ignore it – definitely
a personal touch in his work.
Sam Devries
is from Israeli origin and lives in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. With his
length of 5’6” (170cm), tanned and ripped body and dark looks he is the
perfect specimen of Middle Eastern masculinity and beauty. I mean,
let’s face it, Sam has sex written all over him. Only active in
modeling for a short time, he is a much asked after model, and has
worked with many photographers. We can mention Rick Day, Walter Kurz,
Tom Bianchi, Mark Lynch and Jeff Brewster being just a few of them. And
now there is Thomas Synnamon.
As mentioned before, Thomas likes the personal and more intimate
approach, and that is exactly what he got with Sam. Offering him a
comfortable place on an even more comfortable couch was all it took for
Sam to let himself go and give in to his deepest fantasies and the
luxury of caressing himself against a sheepskin-like woolen pillow.
Seemingly deep in sleep we get the impression the experience gave Sam
interesting dreams. If he dreamed and what he dreamed is not known to
us, but for sure the result of the shoot is enough reason for us to
dream. –B-
