It is All Saints today and although we do not want to walk the religious path, we can not ignore the big coincidence of todays meaning and todays musing. Because on the day when we commemorate all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven, we are looking forward to the revelation of a very different kind of vision, though not less beautiful.
There is a clear difference between a dream and a vision. Both are, in a sense, prophetic. But where dreams emanate from the sub-conscious, more or less as wishful thinking, a vision is most definitely something more thought through, conscious and real. Or to be realized. On our 4 years journey we have encountered many artists with just as many visions. Some small, some big but no matter how is was shaped, the message was one and the same, and one that we share from the bottom of our hearts. It is a vision of a world in which the beauty of the male physique is fully accepted in all its aspects and wonders. And thus we have made it our quest to fight against still existing and even increasing narrow mindedness and hypocrisy, yes even in the gay surroundings, when it come to respecting and enjoying male nudity.
Men are beautiful. They are sensual and sexual, sensitive and strong. They are powerful beings and, the best thing, they come in a large variety. For four years we have celebrated the male physiques in all poses, situations and states, and we are not ready yet. And what a pleasure it is to experience there are so many others who share this wonderful vision and who are willing to put themselves out there to make it happen. This week we celebrate the birth of our very first book publication: BeautifulVision. You probably already heard about it. I won’t go to deep into it now, will keep that for a bit later, but one thing needs to be said on this day of obligation. If the vision that we share with the many artists we have come to know and the many people who enjoy it is a religion, BeautifulVision will definitely be the Holy book. –B-

Very interesting and insightful writing here! Linking the Catholic tradition of All Saints Day with the release of BeautifulVision is sheer genius. Holy men and women of the Church must be documented to have performed at least two miracles before they may achieve sainthood. BeautifulMag has performed a miracle of its own, by making the beauty of the male physique available to thousands of gay men, and hopefully more acceptable to the general populace as well. BeautifulVision will help to achieve this goal, and will certainly become a holy book for all who believe in this vision.
