What is the meaning of red. Red is the hottest of colors and often associated with feelings of passion and love. But at the same time it stands for anger and hate. Red has many cultural values. In China it stands for prosperity and happiness, and it is used to attract good luck. Eastern countries know red as a color of purity and serenity, while in South Africa it is used in the process of mourning and in the USA is symbolizes chaos. Red stands for revolution and fighting spirits. It is also used to grab attention, both in means of warning and standing out from the crow. Like no other color, red stands for contrast. There are always two sides to red and where there are two there is a team. And when we speak of team we could speak of unity that can lead to greatness.
A good team exist out of complimentary elements. Purity and serenity can not exist without chaos and passion. You can experience great love but there is always a little element of anger, jealousy and, yes, even some hate. True greatness can only be reached by real teamwork and companionship. You see it in love relations and you see it in work relations. Teamwork is one of the most difficult things to do. It requires a large quantity of self knowledge, the ability to sacrifice personal ambition and need for the benefit of the greater common goal, without loosing individuality. It is a matter of perfect harmony and recognition. Red is a primary color and thus it can’t be mixed. But in order to create the purest and warmest of red, you have to find the perfect balance between different colors. People can reach their personal goals by hard individual work, but often experience that with the help of others their star can shine even brighter. To see red means to be angry. Today we give it another meaning. For us, seeing red is seeing a perfect harmony that leads to the best result. Today we see red. –B-

I feel as though I have just read a PhD dissertation on the color red! There is very little that can be added here, except perhaps to mention the apparent disconnect between the terrestrial and the celestial interpretations of the color red.
As already stated, here on Earth red is considered the "hottest of colors", and is associated with feelings of passion, love, hate, and anger. On the other hand, in astronomy, red is the color of the coolest stars, not the hottest. The hottest stars are white, or sometimes even blue. This is not the appropriate forum to discuss the physics of why this is so, suffice it to say that there is a real inconsistency between our human perceptions of reality, and what the science tells us to be true.
Red is indeed a primary color, and when mixed with yellow and blue in the additive color system, all the colors of the rainbow and beyond can be achieved. This is another illustration of how teamwork and harmony among disparate entities can lead to all the beauty the Universe has to offer. If only all of humanity could learn this lesson, paradise on Earth would no longer be just a dream.
