IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS ALWAYS AT THE END OF THE YEAR THAT YOU STOP WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING, TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND LOOK BACK AT WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN NOW AND THE LAST TIME YOU DID THE SAME THING, ONE YEAR AGO. TIME GOES FAST, AND SOMETIMES IT SEEMS SCARY TO THINK ABOUT ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED. GOOD THINGS, BAD THINGS, INCREDIBLE THINGS. SO LET’S TAKE THAT BREATH AND TURN BACK THE CLOCK TO DECEMBER 2008.

At some point towards the end of 2008, we received an email from a guy from the United Kingdom who, besides his work as an IT manager landed a modeling contract with image1st. They sent him all over the world and in the short time of only a few months, this guy, who while growing up stayed as far away as possible from any physical exercise, became a much sought after fashion and art model. So much, that this side activity became more and more a professional career.

Then, in February this year, we ran our second story about this handsome Brit, giving you the exclusive of his work with New York photographer Paul Reitz, a successful cooperation that came into existence thanks to his appearance on this very same site. We are talking of course about Paul Reiffer. Paul is a man with determination and a strong drive to succeed in everything he does. To proof that fact, he made fast career in the international modeling business and rapidly turned this into a multifunctional profession that has now placed him both in front and behind the camera. Because since short time, Paul Reiffer is now also working as photographer and again we can say, not without success.

"My job is to paint you with light; Yours is to give me something to paint.  My images need more than a blank canvas - they need expression, feeling, motion and energy. I expect this of my models just as they can expect the same of me." Paul is demanding. Even though his own modeling career was a short one, it did place him in front of the cameras of some of the world’s most acclaimed photographers. Paul absorbed his many experiences and fed them to his lingering photographic talent, making it come to full bloom and allowing himself to develop his skills to a creative artist with a vision that only could have come forward from those experiences. And thus he has high expectations from the people he works with, which than again results in high quality work. Currently Paul has two studios where he shoots – one in Southhampton and one in Central London – but also works on location if his work requires another environment. Sexy as a model and sexy as a photographer, it seems to be the combination to succeed. Paul Reiffer has it all. –B-

Paul Reiffer has certainly had a diverse career so far from IT manager, to model, and now as a photographer. If his work presented here is any indication, it is evident that Paul has found his niche, and will have great success as one of the finest photographers working in the industry today.

Note to BeautifulMag: Interesting Freudian slip of the tongue there when you said, "turn back the cock to December 2008".
