Unlike his name does would suggest, Richard Pier Petit is not French. The artist divides his time between new York and Los Angeles. Know not only for his outstanding photography, Richard is also an interior designer and architect of name. Skills that are visible in his photographic art. As is his background in fashion. Two years ago Richard Pier Petit began a project named Sit On it, an illustrated portfolio inspired by Carlo Mollino’s Polaroids and Tom Of Finland drawings. Sit On It has been published as a project in various magazines and is an ungoing project and has served as inspiration for Richards current photography work.
