One of the nice things of being successful and well-known is that you don’t always have to go out there and find people to work with. They find you. New York based photographer Rick Day is such a person and Matthew Stephen Herrick knew where to find him. A few months ago Matthew sent his portfolio to Rick, hoping to be able to work with the famous photographer. What Matthew was looking for were some edgy fashion editorial type of portraits for his book. To his pleasant surprise, Rick Day agreed on the proposal, and thus Matthew, while he was visiting his family in Philadelphia – hopped on a train to New York City in order to meet Rick and accomplish his goal. "Working with Rick was honestly the best experience I have had working with a photographer," Mathew recalls. "He made me feel completely comfortable and confident through out the shoot. He is an extremely talented and charming man and I was thrilled to have had that opportunity. He brings out the best in each model and really show cases the qualities that make each model different."
Now the case is that Matthew Herrick is not quite unknown either. Born on September 20, 1984, Matthew was part of a large family of eight siblings, in which he grew up being an excellent cross-country and track & field athlete. He won numerous awards and competed in AAU Nationals Cross-Country meets all over the United States. But more over, while attending elementary school, Matthew found the love of his life: acting. He discovered the joy of theater when he was chosen to play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in the annual Christmas play. From that moment on Matthew was lost to the art. He did everything to involve himself in school plays and talent shows, something that he happily continued after school with modeling and commercial work. Which all eventually payed off by landing a role in a feature film.
Matthew Stephen Herrick is 25 years old and can already look back at some very successful endeavors in his life. He will be starring in the up and coming horror/comedy "George’ Intervention" and on the current TV show "Dan About Town." He has worked in a large variety of stage productions and also his modeling career has kicked off nicely with a growing number of magazine features. Matthew is on his way to success, and his session with Rick Day is but one step in the right direction. Currently Matthew Herrick lives in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, with his second love: his dog Billie. –B-

What a hunk mattew Stephen Herrick is. So natural with his hairy chest. Just the way men have to look like. So natural. Like Mother nature have created.
I hope someday he comes to Holland for more photography. For modelling.

Quite enjoy the style of the photography, even if they may not showcase Mattew as above posts may have liked.
Nevertheless, his hind quarter is one I would kill for.
