Karim Konrad is originally from Berlin but has lived and worked over the past few years in Sydney, Australia. Few will disagree if I say that Australia has a lot to offer for a successful photographer who specializes in artistic and commercial male photography. Yes, Australian summers are hot. But so are European ones. And thus Karim decided this year to follow the sun and organized for himself a European tour during the summer months.

Having seen predominately Australian guys in Karim Konrad’s work over the past years, the popular Persian/German photographer decided this year to skip the Australian winter and travel through Europe to shoot some of the hot Eastern European and other exotic guys he encountered on his travels. Today we bring you Karim with Cuban dancer and Frankfurt socialite Ronaldo, Ulises on a German farm and Basti and Tomas, facing wild animals and entering the garden of everlasting spring. –B-

Adam Killian's Male Form

THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF TODAY’S SWIMWEAR IS TO FLAUNT OUR BEST ASSETS. LET’S FACE IT, THE MALE FORM IS BEAUTIFUL AND DESERVES TO BE SEEN AND ADMIRED. THEN WHY IS IT THAT WHEN THERE IS A BIT TOO MUCH FORM IT CAN BE SEEN IN REAL LIFE BUT NOT IN PRINT?

Photographer Dylan Rosser likes to travel and when he does he always makes sure he has his equipment ready. So when he was invited by a friend to spend a couple of days in Palm Springs, Dylan didn’t have to think twice. He packed up his camera, jumped on a plane and found himself only a few hours later at the side of a Californian pool, looking out over a sunlit landscape, bounded by a distant mountain range. A venue so totally private it seemed a waste not to use it for a shoot.

The timing was perfect. It was the day before the famous White Party weekend in Palm Springs, which means the desert city was crowded with hot men. And from all these men, Dylan managed to get porn actor Adam Killian to spend a few hours posing. With his length of 183cm (6 feet) and weight of weight of 86kg (189lbs), Adam turned out the perfect male form to display some of the hottest swimwear pieces for the coming summer season. And so it happened he paraded in some briefs by aussieBum, N2N and Rufskin. And whether it was the swimwear close to his body, the hot sun or Dylan’s camera we don’t know, but apparently Adam had such a good time, it made his male form come out in the best possible way. And that is exactly what raises the question.

Stunning as these portraits are, apparently Dylan Rosser had some difficulties to get them published. Don’t get me wrong, as said before, the photos are fantastic, the swimwear well known and up to date, and the model breathtaking. No, the whole issue lies in the fact Mr. Killian had a problem keeping things down. He obviously was working himself up in a certain state or excitement – which is his job afterall – which clearly shows in some of the tight fitting swimwear pieces. Fortunately we have no issue with that at all, and if I’m not mistaken, neither do you.

Besides the swimwear Adam Killian also posed in – yes – Adam’s costume and since the hot model does like to be naked, those photos came out really well as well.Adam likes to move around and do handstands and splits. He is extremely flexible. According to Dylan Rosser, it is quite a sight to see an aroused porn star doing all kinds of gymnastic moves. Now that is something we would have liked to witness as well. Blessed, or Ready, Willing and Abel

IN THE FIRST CHAPTER OF GENESIS, GOD BLESSED THE MAN AND WOMAN AT THEIR CREATION. HE ALSO BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY AND HALLOWED IT AT THE COMPLETION OF CREATION. THIS DAY WAS THE SABBATH, WHICH WE CAME TO KNOW AS SUNDAY. AND SO WE COULDN’T THINK OF ANY OTHER DAY BETTER SUITED TO BRING YOU ABEL.

Blessed is Abel. If we are to believe in a God, then he definitely was in a good mood when he interfered in the creation of Abel. In Old Greek, the word blessed was used in pagan literature to describe the highest state of happiness, usually enjoyed by the gods and goddesses. Abel definitely looks like he was built out of divine material and he certainly seems to enjoy it. And he has every right to do so. His toned body shows the sensual movement of his hard muscles with every turn he makes. Subtle ink patterns swirl around his left arm and decorate his body just above the waist, inviting you to discover what is hidden by his briefs. His dark hair and black eyes give him the look of an ancient gladiator. With his strong jaws and teasing mouth you easily imagine him a Greek warrior. And his tights and buttocks… well what else is there left to say. They look strong enough to climb the Mount Olympus all the way into the Heavens. Yes, if we are too believe in a God, then he certainly rested his almighty eyes on Abel when he was born.

Blessed is also Frank Louis. This most talented photographer who lives and works in New York’s Village, somehow always seems to be able to get the best and most beautiful men in front of his camera. He shoots for art and he shoots for commercial purpose, but whatever he shoots and who ever he shoots, it is always a true pleasure for the eye. And it seems like Frank has a blessing touch himself as well. May we remind you of Phil Ductan, the beautiful young man Frank discovered earlier last year, or Chris Campanioni, who worked with Frank Louis on few occasions and is now hard on his way to become an international renowned male model. Miracles do happen when the right elements come together, and Franks work with Abel is definitely proof of that. About working with Abel Frank has only one thing to say: “He was ready, willing and Abel.”

Finally we think we are blessed as well. A little bit. To count Frank Louis among our friends. To be able to enjoy his talent and to share his work with the young divine Abel with you. If not for anything else, than at least to bring a little miracle in your Sunday. –B-

Shaun Simpson never enjoyed a formal photography training. He learned everything he needed to know by himself and can now look back at years of experience, driven by passion, trial and error. Working in an industry of classroom trained photographers, Shaun has the feeling he can bring a typical viewpoint to what he shoots. It all comes down to finding out what it takes to create work that people will enjoy. About his work, Shaun Simpson says: "I want my photographs to grow organically; for the images to evolve out their environment, not forced and contrived. It's never about making the photographic subject 'be' a model, but making the subject comfortable and capturing their best. Capturing every moment in a way that's real."

Shaun creates an image in his mind before he even picks up his camera to realize it. He is a master when it comes to strong composition, and his very professional retouch skills have resulted in polished and smooth photographic material that have increased the demand for this talented photographer. Over the past years, Shaun Simpson has been published in a large variety of magazines, and his online portfolio showcases a stunning and impressive selection of his work, varying from landscapes and portraits to smooth models and natural people.

Recently Shaun Simpson completed a series of shoots for which he teamed up with some major underwear labels. Last week we were able to enjoy the European gay Ski Week 2010 in Tignes, an event that attracts gay men – and women – from all over the world. The 7 days of fun on and off the slopes of the famous French ski resort was once again a huge success. Both BeautifulMag and Spanish swim- and underwear brand ES Collection are sponsor of the event and responsible for the annual Pool Party. Without doubt one of the hottest nights during the event, specially with the generous offer of about 150 pieces of swimwear and tee’s from ES for whoever was so luck to catch one.

ES Collection is definitely on the move. Over the past year the company has increased its visibility with numerous brand shops. Not only spread over the Spanish peninsula, but also in other key countries such as France and The Netherlands, and recently they also opened their doors in Los Angeles. Besides that, ES Collection has found other outlet points in different corners in the world and has also been able to penetrate the difficult to enter Australian market. So it won’t be for long before we can see ES underwear, swimwear shorts and t-shirts all over the world.

Today, as said before, a nice addition to the ES Collection 2010 underwear collection. Photographer Joan Crisol shot these pieces, and found a nice Spanish guy to showcase them for us. Aden Jaric Does AJAXX63 with Gabriel Goldberg

MARK TWAIN ONCE SAID THAT THE FINEST CLOTHING MADE IS A PERSON’S SKIN, BUT, OF COURSE, SOCIETY DEMANDS SOMETHING MORE THAN THIS. AND THUS THERE ARE COMPANIES THAT PROVIDE US WITH THE MEANS TO COVER US UP. WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT.

We are living in a beautiful world, filled with beautiful people who do beautiful things. Andy Fraser and Bill Sherman for example, who had the magnificent idea back in 1997 to start a fashion company targeted at a urban gay audience with enough humor and courage to wear tee’s with slogan’s such as Rough Jock Rugby, M.E.A.Track and Plow Boy. This company, AJAXX63, was an instant success, not only due to the tight fitting shirts but also thanks to the owners sharp marketing strategies. One of them concerns the choice of the right models and that brings us to the second beautiful person in this article.

Lovers, husband and porn stars. Is that possible? According to Aden and Jordan Jaric, yes. Since five years these two incredibly sexy men share their lives and passion together, both on and off screen. This by itself is not so unique, but what makes these two Falcon Exclusives really exclusive is that they are monogamous. Aden and Jordan work under the unique contract that allows them to have sex on screen with each other and only with each other. Now isn’t that the boost for your sex life? Recently Aden also agreed on showing us how good he looks when dressed. Well barely that is. He posed in AJAXX63 in order to market their winter/spring 2010 collection. When we heard about this, we first thought it would be a shame. Don’t get me wrong, we love AJAXX63 t-shirts, but it just seems a waste to cover up a hunk such as Aden. But when we received the result, we realized they found a perfect compromise. And that brings us to the third beautiful person today.

Sometimes choices that at first glance seem irrational, can turn out to be not so bad after all. Gabriel Goldberg used to work as editor and writer for Instinct when he gave all that up to return into the school banks. He started to study photography at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, but decided to take a break from that as well. All kind of decisions that turned out quite well for Gabriel. Creative and funny, the talented 35 year old from Valley Village, California is rapidly making name for himself as onrushing photographer. And why not. A fresh breeze in both art and fashion photography he captures his girls and dudes as he classifies them in sexy style, often with a humorous wink. Being a young photographer, Gabriel is open for new ideas and styles, and he clearly shows that in his recent work for AJAXX63. Catchy tee’s, an incredibly sexy man and great photography… yes, it is a beautiful world afterall. –B-
