For the first time in history, BeautifulMag will appear in print. Not as a magazine, but as a book with 260 pages full of stunning portraits, a collection of 37 photographers. BeautifulVision, The Men of BeautifulMag.eu will be available for purchase as of November 2009 (USA January 2010) but can already be pre-ordered. The royalties of BeautifulVision will go entirely to Sidaction.fr the 15 years old French organization active in the ongoing battle against AIDS/HIV, both scientific and educative, on international level. Of course all photographers have voluntarily participated to this noble cause.

THE SECOND HALF OF THE SPRING 2008 BROUGHT MANY BEAUTIFUL FEATURES TO BEAUTIFULMAG. AND BESIDES GREAT COVER IMAGERY, WE ALSO MANAGE TO CAPTURE SOME VERY EXCITING PEOPLE IN CONVERSATIONS. WE FOUND FAMOUS ADULT MOVIE PRODUCER CHI CHI LARUE AVAILABLE FOR A NICE CHAT, AND WE ALSO SPOKE TO NEW YORK FIRE FIGHTER AND ALL TIME HOTTIE MICHAEL BISERTA. WE JUST LOVE TALKING TO PEOPLE, SO KEEP AN EYE ON THE NEXT HALF OF THIS YEAR. MANY NEW INTERVIEWS ARE IN PREPARATION.

If there is something Simon Barnes is not, it is a landscape photographer. Knowing his limitations in that area, Simon has focused and specialized on a whole different kind of landscape. The curved lines of the male body. Creating eye catching images is what Simon does best, under the iconic name Hotsnapz, and his style is definitely to create photos with a high level of stopping power. BeautifulMag has featured many of Simon’s work over the past months, either focused on him, or on one or two of his models, like the incredible sexy Zach Burns and James Charlton. No wonder we were more then happy to interview the man behind the name Hotsnapz, which turned out becoming a two part feature with an interesting and lots of eye candy. Daniel Miagany has quite a reputation as model so when he agreed to work with the photographers duo from F&G Photography, they considered this to be quite a challenge. Wanting to do something phenomenal, unique and fresh, that would be a welcome addition to Daniel’s portfolio, they created this setting of super trouper spotlights, placing Daniel in front and at the same time on the cover of BeautifulMag week 20-21. [Shine!].

Jeff Brewster’s work is a patchwork of many beautiful threads that all together create the tapestry of his creative and unique photographic work. Jeff doesn’t work with existing models, he creates them. This means that his threads are exclusive to him. At least to a certain point in their career. Alexander is one of Jeff Brewster’s most recent muses. The tapestry shots Jeff sent us for his week 22-23 cover were the result of an intense recent session, that added a whole new dimension to Jeff’s work. WITH BACK TO BEAUTIFUL 2008 WE TAKE YOU BACK DOWN MEMORY LANE TO THE WEEKS 12 TO 17, OR BETTER SAID MARCH AND APRIL. THESE EARLY MONTHS OF THIS YEARS SPRING MOST CERTAINLY HEATED UP WITH THE EDITORIALS PRESENTED TO YOU BY PHOTOGRAPHERS JUSTIN MONROE, RONALD N. TAN AND ERIC SPOSITO.

These days meeting people can happen in a thousand different ways. One of them is on the Internet. There are many platforms where you can get in contact with others. And these digital meetings can than develop into something else. Something more real. As Omer Berger found out when he decided to meet Justin Monroe in his hotel room in Los Angeles. It wasn’t exactly room service, but maybe this encounter was the foundation for the concept of the session that would become the fourth BeautifulMag Cover Story. No matter what, Room Service became a meeting point for both Omer, Justin and us.

They say, learning to love yourself is the first step that you take when you want to be real. They also say, that if you say true to yourself, you will never fail. With that knowledge, photographer Ronald N. Tan is a strong believer of the following statement: If your ship doesn’t come in, start rowing. That is what separate men from boys. Ronald came a long way to get where he is where he is now, and boy, do we like where he is now. Ronald N. Tan knows as no other what is it to make a dream come true. You can read all about it in cover story Chasing Dreams, an interview with the artist himself, featuring photos of the delicious Justin, Zach N. and Sean Harley.

This year we came to know Eric Sposito as a man with a vision and a creative eye. He prefers to suggest something rather than to show it. Or, as he says: "I could have shot a big erection or something like that, but I prefer to make photographs that can create some kind of excitation by playing on our imagination."
