The Prophecy Fulfilled

LIKE ALWAYS, EVERY BIG IDEA STARTS SMALL. ABOUT A YEAR AGO THE CREATORS OF BEAUTIFULMAG.EU DECIDED TO ONCE AGAIN DO SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR THEIR READERS, BUT IT WASN’T UNTIL THEY COMBINED FORCES WITH DIGITAL WIZARD AYMERIC GIRAUDEL THAT THE PROJECT STARTED TO SHAPE. THE IDEA WAS EASY: TO OFFER A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF PHOTOGRAPHY, IN HIGH RESOLUTION QUALITY, FREE DOWNLOADABLE ON BEAUTIFUL.

The Prophecy is a modern-day fresco. A digital photographic piece of art, consisting out of three separate parts that all together form a larger then life visual, reminding of a Sixteenth Chapel painting. Over 7 months of work, 35 different models – both amateurs and professionals and starring the famous Nick Beyeler – and many, many shots to create the incredible dynamic poses, create The Prophecy. The work is full of symbolism and, because of the length of the project, carries a lot of influences of happenings and events that colored the lives of the creators over the past half year. The work is of such fabulous quality that it can be printed on large format without loosing any detail, guaranteeing a work full of sensation and emotion that will make your heart beat faster.

Over the past years Beautiful has become an understanding. A window for (gay) artists, creating the exposure and global recognition these people so well deserve. This week saw Aymeric Giraudel’s The Prophecy released worldwide on BeautifulMag.eu, cleverly built up, starting with the publication of the Written Prophecy, a 5 minutes video created by Aymeric Giraudel and the three separate releases of the photographic fresco. The Prophecy is without doubt one of the largest non-commercial digital photograph projects ever undertaken, with no other goal then to create beauty and give that to the rest of the world. Just for the pleasure of sharing the wonderful vision and talent of Aymeric Giraudel.

This article carries the title The Prophecy Fulfilled, but this does not mean The Prophecy ends here. Soon you will be able to find The Prophecy in print form, published in international renowned magazines GUS, Frankly Magazine, Horizon, AKUT and DNA Magazine. And more is to come... All through history there have been men and women with visionary ideas, that provoked a lot of protest of less adventurous people. When the first photographs came to existence, people looked upon it with doubt and anxiety. When digital photography came to existence, this technology too was baulked at. Little did we know that digital photography would become a new art and bring to life a society of modern magicians. And Aymeric Giraudel is a magicians master.

Aymeric Giraudel’s work are captures of his dreams and visions of the future. Full of symbolism and surreal situations. Each piece that finds its origin in Aymeric’s creative brain tells us a story. The Prophecy | Part 2

It took over 7 months of work and 35 different models – both amateurs and professionals - and many, many shots to create the incredible dynamic poses, to bring The Prophecy to life. It has become a work full of symbolism, sensation and emotion. Dynamic action that all concentrates around one character who, in a matter of speaking, ascents from the clashing human behavior, and becomes a personification from true beauty, like a phoenix from the flames.

Evolving from his gymnastic aerobics background, Nick Beyeler transformed himself into an aerial sensation, touring the world high up in the air with the renowned Les Farfadais and, currently, as special act in the latest Holiday On Ice show. When we started, together with Aymeric Giraudel, to fill in the characters that should bring The Prophecy to life, we just knew our good friends Nick and Les Farfadais had to play a part in this project. And so they do. –B-
